The annual Mountain Harvest Festival in Paonia is a wonderful community celebration of agriculture, art, music and life in general on Colorado's Western Slope, held in Paonia in the North Fork Valley, the Heart of the Western Slope!
This festival draws people from around the West to share in the celebration, and features locally grown and produced agricultural products, including local beer and wine. It provides opportunities to learn about and meet local farmers, artists, musicians, craftsmen and performers from the Western Slope with interesting workshops and tours. Various local non-profit organizations are supported through many different activities.
Helen Highwater had this to say about tonight's dinner:
"We had a great time, the food was fabulous, and I am continually impressed with what a great organization you have built. The kids are so adorable and give of themselves so gladly week after week."
